Which search should I use?

Resource Types - Learn about the Museum of History's education resources (articles, History-in-a-Box kits, time lines, etc.) and how to get them.

Click the "show all" links or search by keyword to see what's available.

Topic Search - Search over 20 topics covering time periods, people, and other areas.

Curriculum Search - If you need a resource to match a particular North Carolina curriculum goal, this teacher-friendly page is for you. Search by grade, school subject, and goal number.

Advanced Search - Refine your search to find just the right resource. Select from pre-defined topics (Places, Transportation, Civil War, etc.), audiences (family, adult, educator, or grade level), and resource types; add keywords to your search.

Keyword Search - If you are looking for information on a topic that's not in our topic list, such as aviation, voting, or sports, type one or two words into the keyword search box and click the "Search" button.

If you don't get what you're looking for at first, try other keywords.

note: A keyword search for "NC" or "North Carolina" will match every record in our database, since all our resources have to do with North Carolina history.
